Very Merry Middlebury
We’re excited to see our community come together to celebrate the holidays during Very Merry Middlebury this year. We’re hard at work coordinating and planning this year’s festivities so please check back often. In the meantime, here’s a look at some of what we have planned:
Midd Night Strolls
Mark your calendars for THREE Midd Night Stroll evenings in downtown Middlebury. Come out from 5:00-8:00pm on December 2nd, 9th and 16th for specials, promotions and pop-ups around the downtown. Details about each one will be posted here soon; check back!
Santa and Mrs. Claus
Come get your photos taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus on December 4th from 9:00-11:00am at Triangle Park’s new plaza space. Children can fill out a letter to Santa (available while you wait!) to share their wish lists and then get their photos snapped by parents or caregivers. We’ll also be hosting free horse and wagon rides around town and the new hot cocoa cart will be serving cocoa with all the fixings. Don’t forget to listen to the carolers at the Congregational Church steps that morning or stop by the Ilsley Library Children’s Room for a take-and-make wreath.
Decorations + More
Beautiful wreaths from Werner’s Tree Farm will be hung around downtown (thank you to the Middlebury Fire Dept!) and a large tree will be featured in the Marble Works Riverfront Park to enjoy. And, we’re once again lighting up the falls in festive colors for the month of December! Don’t forget to pop your head into our of the character cut-outs for an instagram-perfect shot.
