A suite of dances based on the dynamics of adaptation and translation inspired by the writings of Gertrude Stein, Toni Morrison, and David Foster Wallace, whose voices capture diverse cultural relevancies through their structure of language. Choreographer Bebe Miller looks at the syntax of movement—how we apprehend meaning through the juxtaposed dynamics of action and context in time and space. Presented in conjunction with the 2018 Clifford Symposium. See go.middlebury.edu/dance for full residency schedule. Tickets: $15 Public/$12 Midd ID holders/$8 Youth/$6 Midd students
