Sheldon Museum celebrates Valentine’s Day with two fun ONLINE activities:

FOLDED LOVE and LOVE LINES

FOLDED LOVE: Tell them you love them in more than words with an origami Valentine card. Start with the image of a vintage Cupid Valentine pictured here from the Sheldon Museum’s archives and fold it into an origami heart with your message inside. The Sheldon will provide an instructional video and downloadable templates for creating the card. For $10 you’ll receive downloadable Print-at-Home cards ($10); for $15, Mailed-to-You cards are already printed with envelopes and mailed to you for folding ($15 + $2 each additional card). The deadline to order the $15 option is Friday Feb. 5 to allow for shipping time.  For more information go to: https://www.henrysheldonmuseum.org/events

Print-at-Home cards may be ordered through Valentine’s Day.

LOVE LINES: Surprise your Valentine — your spouse, partner, child, grandchild, pet, or secret admirer — by writing 2 Love Lines (limit 10 words per line) dedicated to them in the February 11 Arts & Leisure section of the Addison Independent. Your Love Lines will appear on a page with a selection of vintage Valentines from the Museum’s archives. Profess your love, write a romantic verse, or a thoughtful dedication — be creative! Each submission is $20 and must be received by February 4.
