Tonight is Tool Training in the Woodworking Lab! 

Len Schmidt leads a focused tool training. Interested members are welcome from 5-9pm. 

Not a member yet?  Our $7.50 Drop-In fee gets you in for the training or you may borrow The Makery pass from Ilsley Library for free. 

  • 5:00-5:45 – Intro to the shop and properties of wood
  • 5:45-6:30 – Delta 8″ jointer use and safety
  • 6:30-7:00 – 24″ Powermatic planer
  • 7:00-8:00 – 10″ table saw
  • 8:00-9:00 – Band Saw

Participants are requested to wear short sleeves, long pants, closed toe shoes and have any long hair tied back. This is for your safety as well as the safety of others in the Lab.

The Woodworking Lab is always open to our regular membership to work on their projects during Tool Trainings.
