The Woodworking Lab is where you can use our tools and equipment to work on projects. Get your questions answered or learn new skills from our kind and talented Mentors.
All levels are welcome from never been in a woodshop before to construction expert but you will need to take our Tool Training Class before using the Lab regardless of your skill level (check the calendar for the next Tool Training if you haven’t taken it yet).
Participants are requested to arrive wearing short sleeves, long pants, closed-toed shoes and have long hair tied back. This is for your safety as well as the safety of others in the Lab. Children 16-18 are welcome if accompanied by an adult, both need to register separately.
Some of the large equipment: Delta 8″ jointer, 24″ Powermatic planer, 10″ Table saw and Band saw.
Due to COVID-19, pre-registration is required. Instructions for arriving and working safely at The Makery are included in your confirmation email.
Limit of 8 participants to socially distance with the Mentor.
Choose Free, $5 Drop-In Fee or Membership Cards. Select what works best for you.
